Teta MOD Control 1

Control Unit Module Teta MOD Control 1 is a device designed as a part of the Gas Safety Systems Teta Gas. The module uses the Digital Data Transmission – Teta Bus to enable both power supply and addressable communication with field gas detectors by means of merely a single pair of wires. Teta MOD Control 1 is responsible for communication with Teta gas detectors, processing field signals, indication of the system status for the operator as well as overall control of the system operation.

Key advantages of the module:

• Handling up to 50 devices connected directly to the Teta Bus port:
  • handling up to 50 gas detectors,
  • handling up to 8 valve controllers,
  • handling up to 26 signalling devices (optical-acoustic signalling devices or warning LED display).
• 6 relay outputs
• 2 binary inputs.
• Identification of hazardous locations – in case of gas leaks on the facility area the control unit enables operators to identify locations with possible hazards.
• Broad configuration options with the following functionalities:
  • discrimination of signals from detectors of flammable gases or toxic gases – it enables separation of signals from various sources of gas hazards and selective control of the ventilation system. It is also possible to produce a signal to trip the fire protection system only in selected cases, when it is actually needed,
  • control of actuators by signals from a group of detectors installed on a specific area (e.g. in one room or workshop).
• Separate control outputs for flammable and toxic gases to be monitored.
